Well I am not at all an anime fan… to be very honest haven’t watched anime anytime till now. While surfing just got to know about the Deathnote anime series. Have already watched the movie; but anime is something way different. 

There is something about anime I suppose..  If you like it you will like it all, but if you don’t you will never. Keeping this in mind I wanted my 1st dive into anime to be special. So doing some research from anime lovers & checking online polls I finally decided to watch Deathnote anime series.

I’m going to give my honest opinion here. Death Note is one of those shows that have a great plot but everything else seems going a bit haywire later. Death Note definitely had the potential to be one of the best anime series & it proves to be one only in the initial episodes.

When I first watched Death Note, I was hooked. The first few episodes (I think everyone will agree) were brilliant. The idea was so engaging that it’s almost impossible not to get hooked. I mean seriously, how are you supposed to catch a killer who only needs to write names in a book and his target dies magically?

I loved the first few episodes and being in lockdown I was prepared to finish the whole series in the coming weeks. BUT...
